Is the app free?
Yes. The app is completely free (no ads included).
Do I need an account?
No. The app is fully usable without creating an account. Data is stored only locally.
How do I add a license plate?
Find state/province in the list and swipe selected item to the left. You will hear a sound effect (if sound was turned on in the settings) and the counter will increase.
How do I remove a license plate?
Just swipe selected item to the right. You will hear a sound effect (if sound was turned on in the settings) and the counter will decrease.
Can I search for a state/province?
Yes, just use the search function by tapping the search icon (magnifier glass) at the top of the app, type your search phrase (i.e. tex for Texas) and hit enter.
Can I resume the game at a later time?
Yes. When the option "Store Game Data" in the app settings is set to on (by default), the current state of the game will be stored locally when closing the app and can be resumed after the app was re-started.
Can I change the list order (Canadian provinces first)?
Yes. There is an option "List Order" in the app settings to change which country to be listed first. States/Provinces are listed alphabetically, grouped by country.
How can I get achievements?
Achievements are sets of states/provinces (i.e. "All States of New England"). There's a total of 24 achievements. A full list of all achievements can be found on the info page in the app.
Can the app record my location?
Location is optional. The app stores the coordinates of each location where the first plate of a state/province was spotted. You can disable location access in the app settings to prevent the app from recording locations.
What are the Game Stats?
On the "Game Stats" page you can find all found states/provinces including their respective plate counts grouped by country (UA/CA) with total counts for each country. The page also lists all earned achievements and score numbers from previous games.
Are previous games scores stored?
Yes, they can be stored if the option "Store Game Data" in the app settings is turned on. A list of score numbers (US/CA/Total counts and achievements) can be found on the "Game Stats" page. The app stores up to 10 previous games and can be deleted at any time.
Can I share my game scores?
Yes. Game scores of the current game can be shared any time with friends and family using the "Share" button.
Troubleshooting
The app crashed — what should I do?
Follow these steps:
1) Restart the app.
2) If it keeps crashing, update to the latest version in the App Store.
3) If the problem continues, use the contact form below and report the problem; include a short description (see next answer).
How to report a bug?
When using the below form to report a bug, include the following:
1) App version (can be found at the bottom of the info page) and OS version (iOS version).
2) A short step-by-step reproduction: Exact steps you took before the issue happened.

Where is my data stored?
The data is only stored locally on the device.
Is my location being recorded?
When the option "Store Location Data" in the app settings is set to on (it's off by default), location data (latitude and longitude coordinates) of each first spotted state/province will be stored on the device and can be looked up on a map within the app. When the option is turned on and location data is stored on the device, all data gets instantly removed after the option is turned off again in the settings.
